Every now and then a person walks into your life and makes it to appear more colourful, adding hope and joy to your life. That person bring with them part of heaven and all you see in them is peace and beauty. Later, for the lucky ones this heavenly sent person becomes the fountain of happiness and joy.

For the less lucky ones, this person becomes the forbidden apple that slowly takes them from highs of heaven to the burning fires of hell. Even though the pain is unbearable, but the fear of losing this person seems more painful.

Their souls die within the wounds of their broken hearts, leaving them a body that feeds on their pain. To them pain becomes a daily routine and happiness a distance memory. Little do they know that they are reborn the moment this person leaves them.  Promise of heaven appears farfetched as they live for today and cannot trust the unpredictable events of tomorrows.

It’s All About Perception!

Bad things happens to all of us, some less, some more; we are not able to control the things that happen to us, however if we have the courage we should be able to control the way we react to them. It’s all about perception, this way instead of allowing the change to master us; we will be able to master the change and hopefully that change brings out the best in us.

Drawing and Painting

WaterColor Painting- Iran - Esfahan

Art is much less important than life, but what a poor life without it; drawing is putting a line around an idea.  Most of the artists want to draw something meaningful and some may want to draw something that means something to someone. When an artist wants to draw something they might have self doubts or fear, but artists should believe in themselves and what comes from within them. Some might want to draw emotions of a mother, like the feeling of a mother holding her child for the first time, or the great feeling after helping someone in need  or a moment of clarity, something that nobody’s saying it but everybody’s thinking it, something to believe in again. It’s not easy to draw that feeling. But, artists shouldn’t think because they might not great at it then they might ruin it. Art, like morality, consists in drawing the line somewhere.Like Frederick Franck said: I have learned that what I have not drawn I have never really seen, and that when I start drawing an ordinary thing, I realize how extraordinary it is, sheer miracle.

Old Times - Iran - WaterColor Painting

“Do not fail, as you go on, to draw something every day, for no matter how little it is, it will be well worthwhile, and it will do you a world of good.”  Cennini

Aseman Hotel - Isfahan In A Rainy Day - Iran - WaterColor Painting

Most of the paintings are watercolor paintings. All of them are views on Iran, some on old times and some are on present time.

I Dream of a Better World

I Dream of a Better World,

Where, people are equal!

A world with no king, no queen, no boss of all people!

A world where all children are safe and happy,

With no fear of abuse,

With no fear of starvation,

With no fear of cruelty!

A world of pain free!

A world when people can feel, they can be themselves!

A world where people have respect of each other!

A world where each person can truly respect themselves!

A world where each person is truly fortunate!

Where hatred has no place!

Where prejudice and discrimination means nothing!

Where no one won’t be torture, executed for what they believe!

A world with no nuclear bombs, no gunpowder, no artillery!

A world full of nobility!

A world full of compassion!

A world full of humanity!

A world full of peace!

A world where we all can respect the earth!

People Are People

Flo14wer-Life

The country that I love is just a place somewhere in the world. Perhaps it’s a lot like your world, perhaps it’s nothing like it.
Sohrab Sepehri (an Iranian poet) once wrote: “It does not matter where I am. The sky is always mine. Windows, ideas, air, love, earth, all mines.” …
However if you look closer, you may see someone like you. Someone trying to find their path. Someone trying to find their place. Someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it appears like you are the only one in the world who’s struggling, who’s frustrated, or unsatisfied, or barely getting by.

Flo14wer-Sohrab-Sepehri

But that feeling’s a lie. And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear the music in the world, to remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you….

“Life’s a pleasant tradition. Life’s wing is as vast as death. Life’s a jump the size of love. Life’s not something, we put on the mantel of habit and forget….”

Selfishness

Flo14wer-Kindness

The human being who lives only for himself/herself

Finally reaps nothing but unhappiness.

Selfishness corrodes.

Unselfishness ennobles, satisfies.

Don’t put off the joy derivable from doing helpful,

Kindly things for others.

Happiness

Imam Ali

Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it.
