Waiting for the time when the word “Discrimination” is no longer exist in any dictionary…

“You can forget those who hurt you physically
And forgive those who hurt you emotionally,
but you can never
Forget or Forgive
Those who discriminated against you personally.”

The Forgotten Name

“In a world unknown to me,

Where people have hundred faces,

With their small black and white horizons

Ice hearts;

I was called by my name, I kept quiet.

I was called by my ethnicity; I did not reply.

I was called by my race, I kept my silence …

I am waiting for the day that once again I would only be referred to as a

“Human being.””

Drawing and Painting

WaterColor Painting- Iran - Esfahan

Art is much less important than life, but what a poor life without it; drawing is putting a line around an idea.  Most of the artists want to draw something meaningful and some may want to draw something that means something to someone. When an artist wants to draw something they might have self doubts or fear, but artists should believe in themselves and what comes from within them. Some might want to draw emotions of a mother, like the feeling of a mother holding her child for the first time, or the great feeling after helping someone in need  or a moment of clarity, something that nobody’s saying it but everybody’s thinking it, something to believe in again. It’s not easy to draw that feeling. But, artists shouldn’t think because they might not great at it then they might ruin it. Art, like morality, consists in drawing the line somewhere.Like Frederick Franck said: I have learned that what I have not drawn I have never really seen, and that when I start drawing an ordinary thing, I realize how extraordinary it is, sheer miracle.

Old Times - Iran - WaterColor Painting

“Do not fail, as you go on, to draw something every day, for no matter how little it is, it will be well worthwhile, and it will do you a world of good.”  Cennini

Aseman Hotel - Isfahan In A Rainy Day - Iran - WaterColor Painting

Most of the paintings are watercolor paintings. All of them are views on Iran, some on old times and some are on present time.

Time is not a healer!

There is nothing more deceptive than a smile. And no one knows this better than the people who hide behind them. Some flash their teeth as a polite warning to their enemies. Some put on beaming faces to keep their tears from falling. Others wear silly grins to mask their fear. But then, there is that rare smile that is actually genuine, it’s the smile of a person who knows his troubles will soon, be over.
When my father was in so much pain, I sat there next to him, holding his hands and kept smiling hiding my tears and fear, to help him forget his pain I read his favourite books Hafez, history of Iran, and books about people like Sattar Khan, Bagher Khan, Amir Kabir, Mosadegh and many other patriots. I was just 8.

I had a dream last night. He was alive and wanted to hug me, I smiled to keep my tears from falling. I told him I’ve missed you so much. Where have you been for so many years? You can come and see me, but how about me? What do I do, when I need you and miss you? Everyday I waited, watching for you to walk through the door. After many years I accepted, you would never return home.

I stopped smiling, and said I can’t pretend and smile, come back home … … … I felt a terrible burn in my heart and that woke me up

Time is not a healer and the pain of losing someone does not end and gets deeper and deeper.

I Dream of a Better World

I Dream of a Better World,

Where, people are equal!

A world with no king, no queen, no boss of all people!

A world where all children are safe and happy,

With no fear of abuse,

With no fear of starvation,

With no fear of cruelty!

A world of pain free!

A world when people can feel, they can be themselves!

A world where people have respect of each other!

A world where each person can truly respect themselves!

A world where each person is truly fortunate!

Where hatred has no place!

Where prejudice and discrimination means nothing!

Where no one won’t be torture, executed for what they believe!

A world with no nuclear bombs, no gunpowder, no artillery!

A world full of nobility!

A world full of compassion!

A world full of humanity!

A world full of peace!

A world where we all can respect the earth!

Not In My Name

You kill in the name of freedom

You kill in the name of democracy

You kill in the name of God

But not in my name, will you kill

Not in my name, will you fight

Not in my name, will you kill

Not in my name, will you burn a child
Not in my name, will you lie
Not in my name, will you invade
Not in my name, will you rape
Not in my name, will you terrorise

Is it not enough what you’ve done?

With all the bloodshed you’ve caused

It is indeed a sad condition that you suffer from

This itching desire for a prime position

To have all under your thumb

Not in my name

Not in our name
